Bio

Judy Wukitsch is a Jersey girl often accused of possessing a New York state-of-mind (guilty as charged!) For several years she ran a successful non-profit fine arts gallery while creating cultural programming for her local community. She is also founder/director of the Pierro Foundation, honoring her late husband, Lennie Pierro while engaging the public through the arts since 2002. Most recently Judy is turning to her own personal passions – creating art and a variety of jewelry as a metal smith and enamelist in which she brings her own visions to life. Ongoing in her life and work is a deep love of bringing people together through the arts as well as curating a variety of exhibitions and events. Her enchantment with the arts, food, travel and exploration has made her “curiouser and curiouser” about the world beyond her. Judy now lives in Hoboken where, despite the breathtaking views of the New York City skyline, she is often found traveling underground to her studio in mid-town Manhattan. She has three remarkable adult children – independent in every sense of the word, and no pets, although her plants seem relatively happy!
