The contextual framework for my metal and enamel work is one of personal catharsis to disturbing political and social events. My jewelry and small sculptures metaphorically exemplify the seemingly opposing dynamics of strength vs fragility, durability vs vulnerability. What may be deemed a weakness, in reality is often a great asset. This series suggests a need to nurture and protect this interdependence, my commitment for a moral and ethical humanity.
